Three fantasy characters standing in a dark, starry forest, with one character holding a sword and wearing a crown, and the other two wearing armor and hoods.

Aruun Gilgura

Heir to the throne of Astalonia, Aruun is forced to watch as the merchants who usurped his father tear his beloved country apart for financial gain. From childhood he knew it was them who killed his father, who exiled his mother, and who used the guise of illness as an excuse to keep Aruun from the throne.

His blood is powerful, and for now it means Aruun is valuable enough to the Magnate Lords to be kept alive. But as he unravels their conspiracy, how far can he push the limit before he is disposed of?

It matters little to Aruun, who works ceaselessly towards the Magnate Lords’ undoing. In the day, he trains his body, and at night the schemes of his mind come to life.

Who will land the finishing blow? Aruun? Or the Magnate Lords?
